Martin Jury (Wegener Center, Universität Graz) presented a poster about the Klimaszenarien.AT initiative on Oktober 23rd in the session “Regional information – Constructed for climate services” at the World Climate Research Programm (WCRP) open science conference (OSC) in Kigali (Ruanda).
Theresa Schellander-Gorgas (GeoSphere Austria) presented the Klimaszenarien.AT initiative in the online session “Deriving actionable information from climate data” (Session OSA3.3, 07.09.2023) at the international EMS 2023 Meeting . The EMS is the annual meeting of the European Meteorological Society (European Conference for Applied Meteorology and Climatology), which took place as a hybrid event at the Bratislava University of Economics and Business from September 3rd to 8th, 2023.
In the 6th edition of the FFG’s online exchange format for Austria’s Horizon Europe Community “Horizon Europe Coffee chat”, we had the opportunity to present the initiative Klimaszenarien.AT.

On January 13, 2023, the Klimaszenarien.AT initiative started the new year with a webinar for stakeholders. Around 80 interested participants from research, administration and business accepted our invitation and received a compact, first overview of the goals of the initiative, the participants and the possible forms of their future involvement. In addition, they received a brief preview of the 2nd Austrian Assessment Report – AAR2.
